Its only when we heal the wounded parts of ourselves that the metamorphous begins. Its when you "open that can of worms" that you're afraid of opening because of what else may emerge; or its when you "have that awkward conversation and speak about the things that make you feel uncomfortable".

It could be taking a look at all of those things that you have pushed under the rug.  The same rug that is getting smaller and smaller because so much seems left unfinished, unspoken, unhealed. Sometimes the wound is covered by wearing a mask. The one that presents as "I'm ok, I'm fine, I'm totally unaffected when you are crumbling inside, so afraid of rejection and not being "good enough".

Healing the wound means to step outside of your comfort zone. Whatever it is for you, it is time to shift it. It is time to transform it. It is time to rise above the old story that you tell yourself, the wound, the pain body, the trauma and the fear and recreate yourself. To destroy and un-create what no longer serves you takes courage! At @zenlifecounselling I hold space for you to transcend, to rise above what no longer serves you so that you can create a metamorphosis for yourself. Just like the butterfly that emerges from the cocoon after all that shedding, all that struggle, you too can unclip your wings and free yourself.
